Academic Background& Accomplishments
In 1988, graduated from Fuzhou Arts and Craft College, in the major of Lacquer Painting;
In2007, engagedin graduatestudies of China Lacquer Painting & Art in NationalArt Academyin Xiamen;
In2001, established a personalLacquer Workshop;
In2004, Li Qing Culture and Art Foundationin Fuzhou was established, focus on creative sculpture and painting based upon natural Chinese lacquer approach;
In2005, Guo-Qi Fang Studio-Fuzhou (National Lacquer Found)was established.
In 2010, Guo-Qi Fang Studio-Beijingwas established.
Ms. Yu Zheng’s masterpieces and academic papers have been published in art magazines such as Art, Decoration, Sculpture, Max Vision of Art and etc., and as well as many of her masterpieces have been collected by handful Art Museums or individual collectors both domestically and internationally.
Ms.Yu Zheng’s Guo-Qi Fang has been awarded and certified as an academic base of research, teaching and Authoring for graduate students to further study lacquer related art approaches and creations, by academic organizations, such as the China Southern Teachers’ College, Tianjin Art University of China, Putian Studio of Master Program of Fujian, China. The same studio was awarded in the year of 2012 by the Chinese Government of Fujian Branch as the Creative Studio of Master -Yu Zheng Lacquer Art
